OUR HISTORY

Built in 1920, the Traverse City Cigar Box Company was first under ownership of Edward Kluzak and Charles Vader and provided steady employment for a large number of unskilled laborers from the Boardman neighborhood until World War II. Prior owners Matt and Victoria Sutherland rennovated the building into "The Box", creating a beautiful residential space while still maintaining its historic charm.
